On June 23-25, 2005,  the North Carolina Association of Rescue & EMS, Inc. held their  50^th annual convention in Winston-Salem, NC.  The Winston-Salem Rescue Squad entered two teams in the Rescue Challenge and one team in the Rescue Competition.  At the awards ceremony, the squad received the following awards:    

Rescue Competition:  First Place

Rescue Challenge: 

           Second Place:  Ronnie Mayberry/Eric Stroud

           Third Place:      Anne Slayton/Sandy Mayberry  

Rescue of the Year:  Second Place
