Collapse 607 is a 2005 Freightliner with an equipment body. The body was built by Mickey Truck in High Point, NC and the emergency lighting package and cab storage
area was designed by Anchor-Richey EVS in Taylorsville, NC. This truck carries our cache of collapse and trench rescue equipment.
Our equipment list follows that of the NCAREMS Rescue Standards and NC Emergency Management's USAR Standards. 607 will be based at Vienna Volunteer Fire Department’s Mt. Tabor Station on Robinhood
Road in Western Forsyth County. This will be the first time in our department's 68 year history that we are housing a piece of apparatus at another department’s station. This
is a ground breaking collabrative effort between the two departments to provide timely response to technical rescue calls and to alleviate vehicle storage issues for our squad.
