Command 600 is a 40 foot 5th wheel. This unit comes equipped with 2 slide outs and operates in three different stages. The unit operates in the front area as a office / command post with radio communications in VHF, UHF, 2 Meter Ham, and 800MHz. The center acts as a lounge area with multiple capabilities for down time, and the rear acts as a large patient treatment / rehab area. Command 600 is heavily utilized at outside standby event such as the Dixie Classic Fair and the Winston-Salem Air Show. During such event command 600 operates as a mobile command post and patient treatment center. When in use 600 is used in cunjunction with 605.
Squad 601 is a 1995 Chevrolet 4-Wheel Drive light rescue Truck. 601 carries a Hurst Combination Cutter / Spreader Hydraulic Rescue Tool. Small Honda generator, Electric Reciprocating Saw, BOSS Tool (air operated hydraulic spreaders), Air Chisel, and an assortment of hand tools. This truck also maintains a state QRV status carrying a variety of BLS equipment and AED.
Rescue 603 is a 2000 Spartan / Marion 18 foot non-walkin rescue truck. The cab has seating for 6 with 5 containing SCBA's. This truck carries a set of Hurst Rescue Tools, Air Bags (High and Medium Pressure), Air Chisels, Confined Space, and High Angle Equipment. Rescue 603 responds to a variety of rescue calls including but not limited to: Automobile Extrication, Industrial Accidents, High Level Rescue, Confined Space, and Structural Collapse.
Truck 604 is a 2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x4 dually. This truck is used to pull the animal response trailer, boat trailer, and carry personnel. It also carries basic extrication equipment, BLS gear, and AED.
Cart 605 is a custom EZ-Go modified for patient transportation. 605 is used primarily for outside standbys, Forsyth County EMS MSU events, and in conjunction with Command 600. This unit is equiped with a Stryker Stretcher, AED, and Full BLS Jump Bag.
Dive 606 responds to all water related calls. It is equipped with SCUBA equipment for dive rescues and recoveries, as well as Personal Floatation Devices (PFD), helmets, surface and dive dry suits, and rope throw bags. Dive 606 is equipped to handle all forms of water emergencies ranging from Dive, Swift Water, and Ice Rescue. Besides dive equipment 606 is also equipped with BLS supplies and AED for the safety of our patients and water rescue personnel.
We have two Inflatable Rescue Boats to support our Dive / Water Rescue Team. Both boats are capable of transporting up to 7 passengers. These boats are powered by either a 20 hp jet drive or a 30 hp jet drive. Jet drives are chosen for safety due to the use of the boats during dive operations.
Truck 608 is a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. This units primary response is for stand-bys and personel transport for large events. This unit also functions in conjunction with Forsyth County EMS at Wake Forest Football games and MSU call outs. 
Collapse 607 is a 2005 Freightliner M2 customized by Anchor-Richey EVS with a custom Mickey body. This truck carries collapse and trench rescue equipment and tools. Equipment on this truck follows that of NCAREMS Rescue Standards and NC Emergency Managements USAR Standards. As our squad has grown substantially in the past decade we entered into an agreement with Vienna Volunteer Fire Department to house this unit to alleviate vehicle storage issues and help provide a timely response to collapse and trench calls with this unit.
Apparatus
Animal Response Team Trailer. This trailer was purchased in 2001 with a combination of private / corporate sponsors and squad funding. This is used by our animal response / rescue team to carry equipment and transport injured animals.
